Chris Bauer was born and raised in San Diego, California. He obtained a Bachelor Degree in Literature and Writing, Summa Cum Laude from California State University in 2001. He then moved to New York in 2001 to attend Hofstra University School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate in 2004. He is admitted to the state and federal courts of New York and California. He has been practicing law since 2004 and has an extensive background in litigation. While in New York, he worked for two well-known civil litigation firms, quickly gaining courtroom experience and trying dozens of jury cases in the various boroughs of New York City. After moving back to California in 2007, he continued in trial practice, trying a broad range of cases from automobile and premises liability cases to real estate, employment and business disputes. He is a member of the faculty at a local law school where he teaches courses on Torts, Evidence and Legal Research & Writing. He is also involved in ministry at his church, where he established one of the first church-based free legal aid clinics in Orange County.
