Seth Schechter’s practice focuses primarily on transactional, corporate and tax work. Seth has worked extensively with leaders in both the for-profit and nonprofit spaces, and he has a passion for work that makes a positive difference. Seth has represented some noteworthy clients, including Sidney Frank (creator of the Grey Goose Vodka brand) and the United States Government. He also held significant roles at the Salk Institute, the Venter Institute and the Scripps Research Institute.
Seth grew up in San Diego and has spent most of his life here, except for brief stints in New York for school and work. Seth began his career serving as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, and then served as in-house counsel for the Sidney Frank Importing Company in San Diego and New Rochelle. Seth received his B.A. from Cornell, J.D. from Cal Western, and LL.M. in Tax from USD. Seth currently serves on the boards of the Jackson Hole Technology Partnership and the Surfrider Foundation’s SmartFin Team.
